IN 1980 we started with a small cabin of Bakers and General Stores known as Nice Center which was near Rama Hotel at that time. The area was hardly developed it had just 2 to 3 shops in this area they were Zopadi Canteen, Prabhakar Medical and Ruchira Sweets.

At that time many people visited our shop from far away areas like Gulmohar Road and M.I.D.C. area. As M.I.D.C. was newly developed many bachelor officers use to come to buy grocery items from ours stores. And we were well known at that time due to our customer relations and polite nature. Then in a short span of 2 years we tried to broaden our vision and Harish Steel Furniture a small firm was started in 1982 on Savedi Road.

Our shop was the first Furniture Shop in this area. The relations we maintained in our grocery store were very helpful to us to develop our firm. The officers who came to us from M.I.D.C. were on higher posts in the company's. Due to our goodwill they all came to us to buy furniture for their factory from our shop. From starting our strategy was of maintaining a Good Quality and Standard Furniture on our shop.
